Owner & Winemaker

Brian Farrell Jr.

Caelesta is a serendipitous union of family, love and wine. Brian Sr. and Denise's love for wine, family trips to wine regions, and a hobby vineyard in Ventura County sparked Brian Jr.’s interest at an early age. After studying Finance at USC and Agricultural Science at Oregon State, he took a lab position back down in Santa Barbara County. It was there he discovered his love for the Paso Robles area and its potential to create world renowned wines.

About

Caelesta

The goal of Caelesta is to showcase the potential of the Templeton Gap AVA for premium Rhône, Bordeaux, and Spanish varieties while creating a sustainable, family-operated ranch for generations to come. The estate vineyard’s high elevation (1320’), diversity of vineyard aspects, and unique microclimates allow premium fruit to grow.
