Wine has been a part of the human experience for at least 8000 years. We're humbled to follow these footsteps, shepherding grapes from earth to glass, creating some of the finest wines in the world from this region.

Owner & Winemaker

Ross Halleck

Ross and Jennifer Halleck, supported by the expert skills of Rick Davis, collaborate in making every wine in the portfolio. From the Russian River Valley Dry White Zinfandel to their highly acclaimed, Estate Grown Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, each wine is crafted with artisanal care. All three learned their craft on-the-job and in the neighborhood, mentored by renowned winemaker, Greg Lafollette.

Where the Wine is Made

Halleck Vineyard

This is a family journey. The Hallecks welcome you to join them. Planted in 1993, Halleck Vineyard was the first in the hills of Sebastopol, West Sonoma County, in this region. Intended as a college fund for their sons, in 2002, they were judged Best Pinot Noir in the United States. In 2019, Halleck Vineyard was awarded Best of Class in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest event in North America. Sunset Magazine awarded their Sauvignon Blanc Best of Class in the United States, the California State Fair awarded their Dry Gewurztraminer Best White Wine in California, and in 2021, their Dry Gewürztraminer was judged #1 White Wine in Sonoma, Napa, Lake and Mendocino Counties by the Press Democrat in the North Coast Wine Challenge. They are grateful for the recognition, but it doesn’t mean you’ll like their wines. They invite you to try them as you are welcomed into their community. They strive to make the world better by sharing their wines and using this platform to support noble causes across the planet.
