With nearly 35 years of winemaking experience, Penny Gadd-Coster is one of Sonoma County’s most respected sparkling wine specialists, celebrated for her mastery of the traditional méthode champenoise. Beginning her career at Jordan Winery and later J Vineyards, Penny honed her craft under legendary mentors, including André Tchelistcheff, before becoming the founding winemaker of Breathless Wines. Named Winemaker of the Year by the North Bay Business Journal in 2013, she brings a thoughtful balance of French sparkling wine tradition and California fruit expression to every bottle.
